This irrigation farm (1 006.83 Ha) is situated 6,5 km North of Redelinghuys, with a breathtaking view over Elands Bay and Verlorenvlei.
Potatoes are produced on 10 x 13 Ha centre pivots circles, 4 X 12.7 Ha three tower pivots and 4 x 6.35 Ha two tower pivots that are fully equipped with electricity and water.
5.3 Ha Nardorcott Mandarins were planted in 2019/20 and is from this year in full production. Further there is 100 Ha that has potential for rooibos tea and ± 400 Ha veld suitable for livestock.
Infrastructure consists of 1 x 5-bedroom farmhouse (420m²), 3 x store rooms (450 m², 150 m², 60 m²) and 3 laborer houses.
This is a winter rainfall area with a long-term average of 250 mm per annum. Water is obtained from a fountain, which is pumped to a 56 000 m³ (category 2) dam
and from the dam it is further pumped to a Bateman dam (2000m³) from which the centre pivots are irrigated under gravity. A bore-hole with pump supply the houses and livestock with water.
Electricity is supplied by Eskom (200 kVA).
Implements and equipment included are: 2 x 13 Ha Agrico Pivots, 1 x 3 Tower pivot, 1 x 2 Tower pivot, and a New Pump KSB 80-4 (132 kVA motor).
The farm also has a 4x4 adventure route that has the potential for tourism.
The current citrus harvest is excluded from the sale but can be negotiated.
