Situated in the heart of the Karoo, this 25.43-hectare olive estate not only produces quality olives but is also renowned for its top olive brand, producing various olive products.

A lucrative income stream is generated from three sources operating in synergy with each other while visitors can delight in country comfort and escape to an authentic, Karoo olive farm experience.

Olives:

All olives are handpicked and processed on the estate. The unusually high level of lime in the soil combined with quality water and the magic of the Karoo climate gives rise to an ultra-premium extra virgin olive oil product with a superior taste and quality. The hectares covered in olive groves consist of 3670 trees under micro irrigation. The cultivars (Frantoio, Favalosa, Coratina, Kalamata and Mission) can be used for oil and table olives. Olive picking starts in March and can continue until July, depending on the crop size.

Exceptional quality olive oils are pressed by an olive press on the estate and various olive products can be purchased. The estate is widely renowned for its delicious olives and quality olive products supplying to various supermarkets and delicatessen outlets. Olives from other producers in the region are also bought in to fill the huge demand.

The factory consists of reception and tasting areas boasting phenomenal views from the stoep. The oil processing plant, bottling and storage facilities are well-designed and functional. This building is modern, recently built and in good repair. Few places have the charisma of this venue, creating a beautiful Karoo ambiance.

Water:
Water usage rights are registered with the Kweek Valley Irrigation Scheme. A duly equipped borehole supplies water that is stored in a concrete reservoir. Water is pumped directly from the reservoir into the well-maintained micro-sprayer irrigation system for the olive groves.
Adequate water supply from a 23-hectare earth dam filled after flood rain and various strong boreholes fitted with submersible pumps, secure irrigation water supply to the olive groves, as well as for household, lawn, and lush gardens.

Accommodation:

The manor house is a traditional Karoo farmhouse, ideal for a large family, and is situated in a lush garden. Tones of nature that echo the surroundings give depth and warmth to the 3-bedroom manor and provides an authentic yet luxurious Karoo experience. It was recently renovated into stylish modern comfort.
