Mansfield Reserve offers a wide range of activities and facilities available for all to enjoy, be it at the Black rock seasonal riverside restaurant, kids play park and Rock pool as well as picnic and braai facilities. LODGE FARMHOUSE
The beautiful farmhouse set in a lush, treed garden consists of 3 bedrooms (2 en-suite), 3 bathrooms a large farm style kitchen, open plan living with fireplace leading onto the covered patio and the swimming pool area.
EAGLES NEST CABIN
Eagles nest is a log cabin with panoramic views over the Kowie River. It features a double bed and two single beds on an open plan area with a kitchenette and bathroom. The cabin does not have electricity, but lights are battery operated. It is fitted with a gas stove and fridge and an old-fashioned donkey boiler is used for hot water.
PLATFORMS
The three platforms offer a very basic type of accommodation. Each unit consists of wooden floor, a roof and is covered on three sides with 80% shade cloth. The front of the unit is open but has a roll down shade cloth blind. Each unit has its own hot water shower, toilet and basin. A generator supplies power to the platforms.
CAMPING
The 8 camp sites are about 50 meters from the Kowie River. Hot water showers, toilets and basins are available at the communal open-air ablution.
