This almost 15 ha French Huguenot (1692) Heritage farm is located in the idyllic Cape Winelands, in the Western Cape of South Africa. The Estate, as it is today, established in the early 1990s, with wine produced from new vines for the first time towards the end of the 1990s, is ideally positioned in a spectacularly scenic area, with breathtaking views up to the mountains.
Logistics for distribution are facilitated by the proximity to a National Highway and, being close to a socially active Boland town, there is potential to diversify income by creating a function venue and utilizing the accommodation options in the heritage buildings on the Estate.

A perennial water source is secured from a mountain spring that supplies a dam, and the terroir of the area suits the specialized award-winning wine cultivars, namely Pinotage, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and other rare varietals. In addition to almost 8 ha of vineyards, there is a 1,3 ha high-yielding fruit orchard.

In addition to activities related to the farm's wine character, such as wine- and food pairings, other offerings included cheese/charcuterie platters, picnics, gourmet weekends, and sports events, in the past.

The yield from the vineyards was more than 45 tonnes annually in the past, with which more than 40,000 bottles of valuable wine were produced in the winery, consisting of a tank cellar, main barrel maturation cellar, ancillary barrel maturation cellar, laboratory/office – with cooling facilities and winemaking equipment.

The Tasting Centre complex includes a tasting room, a restaurant area, a kitchen, cloakrooms, an underground wine cellar and wine library, a bottle maturation store with a cooling facility, and outside terraces/picnic areas, with seating.
