An additional borehole was drilled in 2022 in the midst of one of the biggest droughts the Klein Karoo has experienced in years, but is still unused as there has been no water shortage since then. The borehole is an artesian hole which means it runs from the top at 12 000l per day, but it has been tested to deliver 27 000l per hour for pumping purposes.
