Over the years, good grazing practices have been applied and the veldt is currently in excellent condition after good rainfall during the past summer (2019) season. The carrying capacity is 1:10 SSU. The farm exudes a great sense of closeness to nature and offers spectacular views and sunsets.

A special ambience is also created by the vast low-lying flood valleys (vloed leegtes) covered with savannah grasses. After good rains in the upstream mountains some of these rivers spread wide and floodplains are formed which provide an abundance of quality grass vegetation for grazing by sheep, cattle or game.
