This beautiful farm is currently used for livestock farming. It was previously also utilised as tourist farm.
LOCATION
This farm is near Van Reenen, approximately 37 km from Harrismith and 40 km from Ladysmith.
The farm has easy access, situated directly along the N3 highway.
TOPOGRAPHY AND GRAZING
The farm consists of beautiful rolling grasslands, mountainous areas, and several ravines with scattered trees. The natural grazing is in good condition with no signs of overgrazing.
The farm is divided into 8 grazing camps, all with access to natural water sources.
Cattle and sheep are the main farming activity.
Wildlife such as Kudu, Mountain Reedbuck, and Bushbuck occur naturally.
CROPLAND
There is a 5-hectare arable field, with half a hectare irrigated by sprinkler
irrigation from a large earth dam fed by a spring. The irrigation equipment is included in the sale. Currently, Teff and cabbage are being planted.
WATER
The farm is located in a high rainfall area.
